Preparing for Middle School: Upcoming Immunization Clinics at Sacajawea Elementary
To help prepare 6th graders for the giant step to middle school, the Cascade City-County Health Department (CCHD) will be at Sacajawea Elementary School in early March, offering immunizations required for students entering Middle School in August 2019.
Parents should have received a letter about these immunization clinics containing the information below. You can find a copy here.
CCHD will be at Sacajawea during Student Led Parent–Teacher Conferences at the following times:
- Monday, March 5th from 3:30–8:00 PM
- Tuesday, March 5th from 3:30–7:30 PM
CCHD Public Health Nurses will be at Sacajawea Elementary to provide these immunizations required by Montana State Law for students entering 7th grade in public schools:
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
In addition to the required immunizations, CCHD will also offer the following recommended immunizations:
- HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
- Menactra (Meningococcal Meningitis)

Copies of the Immunization Registration & Consent form are available at Sacajawea’s Office, the City-County Health Department, and here.
Most insurances will cover the cost of the immunizations. If you prefer to pay out of pocket, CCHD accepts all forms of payment; checks can be made payable to CCHD. Students will not be denied services for inability to pay.
