“Ask Me” Campaign Begins for 2015
CCHD and Clark’s Orthopedic and Medical are Encouraging People to “ASK ME!”
The Cascade City County Health Department (CCHD) is pleased to continue with the “ASK ME!” campaign during the month of October. This is an exciting and different program that teams up with local businesses to increase cancer screening rates and awareness in Cascade County. When customers ask about the “ASK ME!” button the employees are wearing, they will be handed a card with cancer screening information for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer. It is a fun and unique way to initiate a conversation about a very important topic: cancer screening.
Penny Paul, CCHD Community Health Education Specialist, is working with the local businesses to seek support of this program which will run at different times through June, 2016. For the month of October, CCHD is pleased to have Clark’s Orthopedic and Medical as their partner for the campaign.
Clark’s Orthopedic and Medical, a family-owned business is pleased to be a part of this program. “We have been serving the community for almost 60 years” says owner, Bunny Clark. “Our staff would be thrilled to see a cure and no longer need our mastectomy services and products”.
The “Ask Me!” campaign is a project of the Montana Cancer Control Coalition Early Detection Team. For more information, please call Penny Paul at (406) 454-6751.
