CCHD and Anderson Family Pharmacy are Encouraging People to “ASK ME”
The Cascade City-County Health Department (CCHD) is pleased to continue with the “ASK ME!” campaign during the month of December. This is an exciting and different program that teams up with local businesses to increase cancer screening rates and awareness in Cascade County. When customers as about the “ASK ME!” button the store clerks are wearing, they will be handed a card with cancer screening information for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer. It is a fun and unique way to inititate a conversation about a very important topic: cancer screening.
Penny Paul, CCHD Community Health Information Specialist, is working with local businesses to seek support of this program which will run at different times through June 2013. For the month of December, CCHD is pleased to have Anderson Family Pharmacy as their partner for the canpaign.
Anderson Family Pharmacy, a family-owned business, is please to be a part of this program. “We have been serving the community since 1999,” say owners, Stuart and Kyla Anderson. “We believe it is important to detect cancer early as the best preventative measre.”
The “ASK ME!” campaign is a project of the Montana Cancer Control Coalition Early Detection Team.
