HIV in Montana

HIV diagnoses in Montana appear to be up slightly this year, however, it doesn’t appear that Cascade County isn’t a part of that trend.  “Previously diagnosed cases may move here, but as far as new cases go, our most recent was in 2008” says Trixie Smith, Prevention Services Manager.  CCHD recommends that everyone get tested on a regular basis, keeping in mind the risk factors for HIV.
